Eye want to die.... literally.

I have Conjunctivitis. Which most of you moms will know as Pink Eye. I didn't really want to spend the money going to the doctor so I called my big sister Pink Nothings and complained about my stupid eye. She told me about a home remedy.

It involves tea.
Chamomile Tea. You prepare it as normal and use a wash rag to rub it on your eye. I have actually been using the actual tea bag on my eye as well as dipping a rag in the hot tea water and placing it on my eye. It's helping it not irritate or itch. And the swelling is going down and the redness is beginning to disappear. I will do this process for the next few days. But I think the results are looking good!

Wax on.... Wax off....

Beauty sometimes equals unnecessary pain. I decided to wax my legs the other week. To all of you ladies that can do this without screaming, kudos to you.

Why I have been gone.

So Little Man has started to wake every night between 3 and 4. I like to call it the witching hour because I turn into a slight witch. Why? Because he is staying up until 6 or 7 am. This was going on for a whole week. Last Friday I took him to the doctor to make sure he wasn't sick with a ear infection. The doctor couldn't find anything wrong with the tike. I know he is teething but really it has gotten out of control. My husband and I were giving into him for anything he wanted at night. We thought sure if we rock you, then you will sleep. Nope. After rocking he needed to go potty,eat,rock some more, sing songs and then start it all over again. He was walking all over us. My husband and I came up with a game plan and started it last night. LM was NOT happy. We didn't give him anything. We sat on his bed and told him to come lay down with us. LM screamed for about 1 1/2. Then he finally gave in and got in bed with me. By 5:30 I heard his deep breathing and knew he had fallen asleep. I rushed back to my bed thinking he would sleep in for me....7 am he was up. Normally 7 would be very normal for me and him to wake up but not when he has kept me up all night.

I hope to be back to blogging more again, I am just exhausted!!!

Potty training is completely paying off! He has maybe one pee accident a day if that. And He has pooped on the potty for me twice now!!! I am sooo proud and happy for the both of us!

Funny Moment in time

I did this photo last summer but I just came across it again and kept laughing. A friend once said "If you can't laugh at yourself then I'll do it for you". I don't think I've ever had trouble laughing at myself. I tend to laugh at a lot of things. The more you learn about the world, the more opportunities there are to laugh it. And I think laughter is the best medicine.

Um... that is dark.

So I told my sister Rae that I wanted to dye my hair darker. My husband always talks about black hair and how much he likes really dark hair. So I asked Rae to pick up the hair dye because I was car less the other day. When she got to my house she had black hair dye. I was really nervous when I saw it. But when my husband couldn't stop telling me how much he liked it I knew I made a great choice to do it.
Oh and the little bits of white you see in my hair is from the snow we got here in GA yesterday. Not much at all but enough for it to be so cold.

New Moon.

I read all of the twilight books in one week.( I do claim to be an obsessed fan.) I fell in love with Edward. I saw New Moon on Friday night with some friends and.....

How could this happen? I don't know. What I do know is, if Edward wants my love again...the 3rd movie needs to come out fast!

I used to follow a ton of blogs. Today they are all gone from my dashboard. Did this happen to you too? I am not sure what I should do about it. I am missing all of the blogs I read. If you have any tips please send them my way!!!

I know that I have really not been posting as much as I should or used to. I believe I lost my grove with the move. While unpacking boxes I have found it. I promise you will like my blog again.

My random thoughts.

I have had an awesome day so far. I spent the morning with Down with Pink. Let the kiddies play. When I came home Little Man ate his lunch. This may not seem like much but he hasn't eaten lunch for almost a week. Stubborn. Now he is fast asleep. But all good things must come to an end. I have to go unpack a few more boxes and clean the kitchen. Boo. Not boo as in halloween is here. Boo as in I want to hide under the covers and never see another dirty dish again! How is your Tuesday going?

Next week we will be back.

I just got Internet in my house now I have to set up my computer desk that we got at Ikea today. I normally don't like the style of Ikea but when I went a couple of months ago I started liking some of their products. My life has been really crazy this week with the move but my husband took off this week so that has been nice. At times he has drove me crazy but overall I have loved this hectic week with my family.

I will have some awesome Reviews and Giveaways next week. So stay tune.

Every little thing is going to be alright.

Tomorrow I move into my house. wow. I never thought the day would come. When my husband and I moved back to the south I thought we would have a house within no time. 5 months later we finally are moving out of my parents house. (thank you mom and dad, I never thought I would live with you again) They were great really. I am excited to get into the house have the movers bring me my belongings and unpack. So if you do not hear from me in a while you will understand why. Also the Featured with Pink will not happen this week. We are going to put it on hold until I settle in. I know you guys like updates so I will try my best!

Halloween again.

Today I found the perfect outfit for Little Man to wear for Halloween. When I saw it I knew it was made for him to wear. Did I call my husband to make sure it was what he wanted? No. I bought it and decided to come home and put it on him because I knew he would just love it as much as me. Come on what little boy doesn't want to be a cute little owl for Halloween? Lucky me I only paid 6 bucks for it.

Guess I was wrong. As I normally am when it comes to Little Man. You would think after 14 months with this kid I would know him better than I do. He cried the entire time he was in it. I don't think it's going to work. I may have to go back to plan A. I found it on this wonderful blog called Lumpyhead.

I almost died when I saw this. hahahaha it really cracks me up and I just might have to do it now. He will not wear the hat but I think it could still work. What do you think? Also please let me know what your little one will be this year.
