Review & Giveaway Children's Book

With Mother's Day almost here I wanted to do a giveaway of a wonderful book about a mother's comfort and love. The book is called IF I WERE THE WIND. It is written by Lezlie Evans and Illustrated by Victoria Lisi. This is not the first of Lezlie Evans books I have gotten my hands on.
I wrote a review for Lezlie Evans newest book called WHO LOVES THE LITTLE LAMB? (which is another great Mother's Day book) You can read that review here.

"If I were the wind I would dry all your tears."
I loved this book so much for the tenderness displayed by the mother. In the beginning the child question's her mother what if a witch turned her into all sorts of things. The mother reacted the only way a mother should. She didn't brush off the child telling her that it is non sense, she reached out and comforted the fears of her daughter.

"If I were a tree in my shade you could lie; together we'd watch as white clouds floated by."

Looking for a book that will stay in your child's heart for years to come? Lezlie Evans is giving away 2 signed copies of her book IF I WERE THE WIND.
To enter go to Lezlie Evans site and tell me something you learned about her or her books.

I learned that she began journaling when she was little.

I won the last Lezlie Evans book, and it's absolutely beautiful! I hope to pass it along to my son for his children someday.

I learned Ms. Evans makes school visits, and talks about the publishing process and her books:

I learned that her inspirations come from her children and now her granddaughter. I love her books I have sent many to my own grandchildren and I just love her style of writing I would recommend any of them...............

I learned that she liked to go outside, play soccer, swim in my pool (I lived in California), roller skate, and play football or baseball with the neighborhood boys when she was in elementary school.
