Ice Cream And Duct Tape Question

For those of you who live in the South like I do you have heard and love Mayfield Dairy products. I grew up on their milk and ice cream. This week my niece has been visiting from out of state and my dad and I decided to go on a tour at the Mayfield Dairy to see how the milk was made. My sister and her two kids came along also. It took longer than I had planned on to get there. After an hour of being in the car I was getting nervous because Little Man had not taken a nap. We arrived at 11:30 and they told us the next tour was not for another hour! I tell myself not to just freak out because I do that often when it comes to nap time for my baby....I'm not perfect!
Anyways, we go eat lunch and make it back in time for the tour. They cram us all into a tiny room to watch a 10 minute movie that my child talks through the whole time. Afterwards they pass out hair nets. Who were they kidding thinking a one year old would keep that thing on? Needless to say it didn't so they wouldn't let us on the tour. I sat out in the heat waiting on my family for 30 minutes.
As I was out there I saw one of the two.
The most prepared mother of the year or the most ridiculous mother of the year.
I will let you pick.
She had put duct tape around her child's head so the hair net would stay on! I kid you not. At that moment I regretted not having a camera to prove it.
All in all the trip was only worth it while eating my mint chocolate chip ice cream.

So what is your vote on the mother?

No WAY!!! I sooo wish you had a pic of that. I love seeing how milk is made as much as the next person, but I'm not quite sure the tour would have been worth me duct taping the net to my child's head. Hilarious!

That is so funny! We went there 2 weeks ago when we were in town. So fun. Ella LOVED her hat and got mad at me when I tried to take it off of her head when we got out. hahaha.

Reminds me of when Eve was 18 mo. and had a raw mouth after a bout of the flu. The doctor said "have her rinse her mouth out with warm salt water 3 times a day". I said RIGHT!! HA Wouldn't warm salt water make your child sick when she swallows it?
