Review & Giveaway:Potette Plus Travel Potty Chair

As you all know my world now revolves around taking Little Man to the potty. I am in that phase of my life where potty training rules everything I do. I was not ready to go out in public because LM is so small that

A. He would fall in the toilet

B. In order to not fall in he would have to hold on tight to nasty public toilets.

As I was looking for a solution I came across one of my favorite websites, Kalencom. I did a review for their diaper bags a while back. At the time I didn't have any need to check out their section for potty training. When I saw their Pottette Plus I knew this had to be tested out for all my readers to hear about.

It is a portable potty chair that you can use while out in public or when there is absolutely no access to a regular toilet. (On a boat, camping, leaving it in the car for emergency's and so forth) The chair folds up flat and fits into my diaper bag with no problem. From the top left picture you can see it folded flat. You simple pull the blue handles out and place the chair onto a toilet. The Potette Plus has rubber grips on the bottom of the seat to secure both the seat and your child while using the product.

When you are using the Potette Plus away from a regular toilet the blue handles become the stand for the red seat. You pull them out and they will lock into place once the child is on the seat. The chair comes with plastic bags with a small insert that collects the mess that goes inside. Then you detach the bag and throw it away like you would any ol' diaper.
I have loved having the comfort of the Potette Plus potty chair and know you will to.
Kalencom will be giving one away in the color of your choice.

Couple of things:
1. Ashley has this for addie and she LOVES it. She puts a maxi pad in the bag to help soak it up.
2. Grant because he's a boy- I let him stand on my feet and we just pull his pants down and he stands while he does his business. No touching, no anything! LOVE IT!! Except of course for the inevitable poopies and then I loose my mind because he has to sit.
3. When no toilet is available or long car rides- I bring extra plastic cups with us in the car. And then I just throw them away. This has been a lifesaver!

However, when little maddie starts doing pottytraining I will be forced to buy this super amazing device. It really makes things easier. I hope your feeling well and give me a call when you have some time because I got a new phone and lost all my numbers. LOVE ya!

I have this and I love it! The only thing is the bags could get expensive so I'm thinking of using small trash bags with Swiffer pads inside to "absorb" the mess. Has to be cheaper then that small pack.
