This is a picture of me on my very first mothers day. Believe it or not, but my husband and son made me this sweet shirt all on their own last year. I loveee it. I will even wear it out in public with absolutely no shame. It was my son's very first piece of art work and I was thrilled to have it. I remember being in the youth program at church and a dear friend of mine, whom I used to babysit for came to church on mother's day wearing a paper hat that her son had made her. He had glued all kinds of things to it and it stood out like a sore thumb. But she wore it proudly because her son had made it for her. I thought it was the best thing ever. Now that I am a parent I realize that if my son comes home from school with a homemade paper hat for me on mother's day...you will see me in it on mother's day. I love the heart of mothers. I am so honored to be able to be a mother. There were times in my life where I questioned if I would ever be able to have a child. I feel so blessed. I am learning how to love better and give more because I am a mother.
I hope you enjoy your mother's day and this short clip.
Awwww... how sweet! Happy Mother's day - a little late. You can always wear your shirt to church! P.S. I just realized you left fb and now I miss you terribly!
