My Play room...leave a color please!!

My play room is what definitely sold me on buying our first home. It is so large and away from the rest of the house and connects to our backyard. I have come to enjoy it more and more. I am in the process of tweaking it a bit in the decorative department and that's why I need your help!!
I inherited a kitchen set that my grandfather and uncle built for the first grandchild in my family. I grew up playing with it myself and just couldn't see it not being used. Since I had plenty of room for it (it's larger than most kitchen sets) I took it in as soon as the offer was made. LM has loved playing with it, the only Problem I have with it is the fact it is lacking in color. I want to paint it I am just not sure what color would look best.

So here it is. Leave a comment and let me know which color you think would look best on it. I will post pictures of the finished project once I have a color picked out. Thanks ladies!!

I love it. I think you should go all-retro and paint high gloss white with turquoise accents.

I think you should use those pretty blues and creams in your rug and maybe a dark brown.

I love the sage green's that you have on the sides of your blog... I think those would look super cute on the set too! But I am kinda partial towards that color scheme... I used it in my daughters room after I saw that commercial where the parents are painting the walls green and the kids are running around crazy like until they enter the green room. Calming. Love it :)
And I'm super jealous of your HUGE playroom!

p.s. I found you through SITS :)

Love the big space for a playroom! Its wonderful. I would try to copy potterybarns kitchens because it has the same lines and I'm IN LOVE with their play kitchens. Some are navy blue, others are red, etc. It will give you some good inspiration. www.potterybarnkids.com

How about some chalk board paint for the refrigerator door? and then I LOVE the high gloss red Pottery Barn does....so that is my suggestion.
