What's you're favorite thing you've created?

That's a really tough question. I have many favorite past creations: the modern tree painting commissioned by my husband for our home, my wedding dress, and this sweet little green clock that was a best seller back in my etsy days. But, my favorite at the moment is my new project that I am SO excited about! Snap.i's will be coming to my site by the end of July for my ilaju baby line. Snap.i's is a line of shoes, hair bands, and other baby gear with swappable embellishments (bows, flowers, etc.) Check back soon to get some for you're little one!


If there was a must have item for the summer, what would you say it is?

Most definitely the simple yet adorable crocheted flower headbands that I am giving away on here! They add just a little pop of color and femininity to any outfit and you can wear them with anything from your bathing suit at the beach, jeans and a tee shirt, to a sweet little dress.

What type of materials do you use?

At the moment I've been working a lot with felt, lace and vintage materials (buttons, recycled fabric, ribbon, lace, millinery stamens and flowers). But I also work a lot with yarn and feathers
