Stars delight. Stage 3

I have been making my baby food ever since he started eating. In the beginning it was a very easy thing to do. Just puree it all. Now that he is older and wanting more textured foods it has become harder for me. I just found the perfect little dish for him. I made it up two Sundays ago.
Since it was just thrown together I don't have all the measurements. I will do better for other recipes.
What you need.

2 yellow squash
carrots
peas
1 piece of cooked chicken
sugar
water
butter
About 4 big spoonfuls of Star pasta

First I diced the squash and put it into a pan. Covered the squash with just enough water and added sugar and butter. I cooked until the squash fell apart.

Cooked the Star Pasta.

I pureed half of the squash, and chicken.

Then you mix it all together.

Believe it or not it didn't taste bad. Not to bold of a taste and not to bland. It lasted me a week for all of his lunches.

great job on making your babyfood. We did that. And great idea with this recipe. It's easier when they get older to give in to the marketed stuff but what you did is the way to go.
